Afternoon of October 14, 2015 when Chito Miranda tweeted that he was offered P2Million Pesos to tweet for a specific Presidential candidate this coming 2016 Election. He refused the offer because he wanted to support Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte or Mirriam Santiago instead . Everyone were abuzz and curious who was the said "canditate".

He mentioned in his second tweet that he doesn't know exactly who it is because the agency who contacted him didn't mention it and wanted to see if he is game enough and willing to accept the offer.
